I discovered FAT bikes when in the snow capped mountains of Chamonix in 2015 and was instantly drawn to their looks, ride and sheer potential; it wasnt long before I had one of my own. As a former XC mountain bike racer, i found new inspiration to rediscover competitive riding. In both 2021 & 2022 I won the FAT bike class at 'Battle on the Beach' and the Run & Ride 'Winter Classic'.
I have always enjoyed a challenge; have summitted a number of the rideable peaks in the lake district (including Helvellyn and Skiddaw) and supported cancer research when completing the 325km offroad Rat Race coast to coast route (traversing the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & North York Moors) non-stop in sub 21 hours. I now look forward to the National FAT bike championships next month.
I joined Rotor Race Team at the beginning of the 2019 MTB season. My two main disciplines have always been off-road in cyclocross and MTB XC and I’ve recently just moved up to the expert category in MTB XC, so I look forward to getting stuck into a new season of racing and to begin to progress in a new field of riders!
This is my third year with the Rotor Race Team and second as an Elite XC rider. I also race cyclocross and on the road but my main aims this season are focusing on UCI Marathon Series races in Europe and the UK National Marathon Champs...

Having already done the 4 day MTB stage race in Lanzarote, I'm am now looking forward to Battle on The Beach. I hope to still be competitive in the regional MSG events and plan to compete in some of the National Cyclocross races later in the year...
Mountain biking became my new hobby in 2014 and I entered my first races that year in the Eastern MSG and Winter Series’. Three years and an additional two bikes later and I started racing cyclocross as well. I joined Rotor Race Team in 2019 and love the camaraderie of it. I’m not a podium contender but I have improved each year to come from a bottom half finisher to top half. My aim this year is to cycle more and train harder to improve my performance and get higher places in my races. Racing in the Grand Vets category
Hi I'm Spencer, age 14. I have been racing cyclocross, xc and road for a few years now and I hope to keep improving. I'll hopefully have a great 2020 and some satisfying results through my season as an u14. I look forward to spending some time with my teammates and hope to meet new friends along the way.
Hi my name is Dave Carr I’m an endurance mountain bike racer from the south coast. I mainly race 24hr or 12hr solo races but still enjoy the odd sprint race ! My main aim for 2020 is to finish strongly in this years Trans Alps, a 7 days stage race and this years British 24hr champs...
Hi, I’m Zoe and I joined Rotor at the start of 2021. I’ve been racing MTB XC since I was a teenager, and was selected for GB as a Junior for the World Championships in 1993 and 1994. Shortly afterwards I was hit by a car whilst out training and decided to take some time away from the sport. I didn’t get back into to racing ‘seriously’ until my kids started racing in about 2016, and have gradually improved my fitness and skills since then. I became Veteran Regional Champion in MTB XC and CX in 2017 and 2018, but then annoyingly crashed at Aston Hill and ruptured my ACL in April 2019. I recovered enough to win the MTB XC Regional Champs in 2019, but had ACLreconstruction surgery later that year. It’s been a long road to regain fitness, confidence and skills since then (plus more surgery) but hopefully in 2021 I’ll be gradually getting back to where I was and racing Southern XC, Central CXL and maybe some Nationals, plus a few road bike TTs to get fit!
I started my cycling journey at Redditch cycling club who gave me a passion for all cycling disciplines however I particularly love cyclocross and Mountain biking, I also race track and road when time allows. I am British Schools national all round cycling champion for the last 2 years u13 and u15. I have also been on the podium in the National cx trophy and was 4th in the national MTB championships at Hadleigh 2018. In 2019 I was 3rd overall in the West mids cyclocross league. I have also raced cyclocross in Belgium. Going into the Junior ranks I decided to join Rotor because it’s a great supportive team with many riders participating in local and national events. I was looking forward this year to more racing abroad but we all know how that has gone, I have been attending MTB training camps with the GB cycling team over the last 6 months which have been great for my cycling development. I use Rotor cranks with oval rotor rings and, power meters on all my bikes and they just work and give me the information I need to help my training and Racing. I can’t wait to get back to some racing and hopefully try my hand at some Enduro along with working towards doing well at National MTB and CX events over the next 12 months.
